Photos rated high. Photos with details rate high. Interviews with participants in events rated high. Interviews with older people rated high if you cover their experience and perspective.- Prairie Weather
The last place you will hear about the new American labor movement is in big American outlets.
Via lambert, via susie. See them, their blogrolls, Twitter hash tag #1u and just about any other outlet where citizens can get the word out. Such as:
Service Employees International Union and its Fight for a Fair Economy site in Ohio.
Many state and local sites such as the Ohio Civil Service Employees Association and AFSCME Council 8.
The Pragmatic Progressive Forum
The Coalition of Immokalee Workers (CIW)
The CIW is a community-based organization of mainly Latino, Mayan Indian and Haitian immigrants working in low-wage jobs throughout the state of Florida. Via.

Friday, July 18, 2008 at 06:17AM No post this week - I’ve been away. My travels took me to Kay’s neck of the woods so we had a great al fresco dinner. And yes, she’s a pistol in person too.

Hi Dan! Hope you, your wife, and the kiddos had a good trip back to your state!
It was so great to meet you after talking to you online for awhile now. I'm thinking we could have talked politics for another week on Wednesday? LOL!
You guys picked the perfect week to come to Maine because the weather has been glorious. Today & this weekend it's supposed to get steamy, but that's okay, because it's better than snow & bitter cold!
Again, so great to meet you! Next time you and the family come to Maine, call me, so we can all get together again. ;-)
Turns out Kay and I are from necks of the same woods! Well, my neck is a little further east. Nice time of the year for some good ME weather.
